5 stage under sink reverse osmosis water purifier.
Stage 1: 5 μm PP / FPP cotton filter; graded-density melt-blown PP cotton with a looser outer layer and tighter inner layer, filters particles larger than 5 μm such as sand, turbidity and rust. Recommended replacement interval: 3–6 months.
Stage 2: CTO compressed carbon; adsorbs residual chlorine and heavy metals, removes discoloration, odors and organic matter, and protects downstream filters. Recommended replacement interval: 6–9 months.
Stage 3: 1 μm PPF / PP cotton filter; filters particles larger than 1 μm and further adsorbs colloids, sand and rust. Recommended replacement interval: 6–9 months.
Stage 4: RO membrane; intercepts contaminants down to ~0.0001 μm, removing bacteria, viruses and heavy metal ions. Recommended replacement interval: 12–24 months.
Stage 5: T33 post-carbon; high adsorption (iodine number ~1100), coconut-shell activated carbon to improve taste and remove residual color and odors. Recommended replacement interval: 12 months.
